grandmother's project (em português mais abaixo)

Among boxes with scraps of fabric, I have one called "grandmother’s projects". It’s a box full of classic fabrics with classic tones, such as green, beige, crimson (ou dark red), off-white, pearl and dark rose... I say "grandmother’s projects" because the fabrics send my memory back to the houses of my two grandmothers, and of so many other grandmothers I know. This box is my excuse to buy fabrics, which generally do not apply to my type of most common projects, but which I can not resist ... The grandmothers are the ones to benefit from it. Orders from them are accepted, whether for grandmothers or not.

projecto avós

Entre caixas com restos de tecidos, tenho uma a que chamo "projectos avós". São tecidos clássicos, com tons clássicos, como o verde, beje, grená, pérola, rosa velho… Digo "projectos avós" porque os tecidos remetem a minha memória para a casa das minhas duas avós, e de tantas outras avós que conheço. Esta caixa é a minha desculpa para comprar tecidos, que geralmente não se aplicam ao meu tipo de projectos mais comuns, mas aos quais não consigo resistir... Quem fica a ganhar são as avós. Aceitam-se encomendas, seja para avós ou não.
